The menu is a little intimidating, reminds me a little of Anchovies and Olives Restaurant menu but don’t let it stop you from going to this place. There is a cold menu and a hot menu and we decided to try a few different things from both. We started off trying Miss Marjorie’s Plantain Chips for the table. They were very good and came with a great avocado pineapple salsa. Then had the Hamachi for appetizer that was served with sea salt, fennel, and tomatoes it was excellent. After that we tried the terrine which was a pork terrineserved with some delicious mustard and pickled vegetables. It was also excellent. Then we had the duck breast and also the pizza with Prosciutto and ricotta. The duck breast was also very good and the pizza tasty. For dessert we had the ice cream which was fabulous. I love ice cream and I do consider myself an ice cream connoisseur or at least I think so. And this ice cream was just perfect consistency and very creamy. The way ice cream should be. The flavors were coffee, Goat milk, and strawberry. Delishhh!
The service at Marjorie is fabulous and the decor is very modern and eclectic. I think Marjorie is a fabulous little neighborhood restaurant. When it is nice out hey have outside seating and have two garage doors that open up. They take a few reservations but also do walk-ins. It is a small place with only a few tables and one communal table so make reservations or come early. I really recommend trying this place out. I know we will be back again.

You mention that the pork terrain was very good at Marjorie, but I think you mean to say the terrine as terrain means the earth, ground. It’s hard to take a “foodie” seriously who doesn’t know the difference between terrine and terrain.

April 28, 2015 at 5:18 amlets get real for real there has to be hundreds of thousands of trustworthy honest americans .that have had there credit impacted by this economic calamity .some of them perhaps prior loan officers they are not responsible for the debentures that were illegally sold on wall streeet .they were not negligent in there duties the sec was and lwe should be clear . there has allways been a sub prime market and it will return .the over kill taken by the national cry went to far on loan officers and not far enough on the secondary sector .the law is nothing more than what is typical one segment of the market trying to gain advantage over the other .be clear the so call nieve general public is not so nieve they are complicit in most cases motivated by greed . they noy claim ididnt know ijust didnt know hog wash they were buying houses and luxury cars in the same breath get real .i predict that private money will enter the market and not be impacted by the new laws and the so called advantage will be dilluted even further the arorgant tone that most of you exemplify suggest that you could care less about the people who will be once again underserved .whats the new rule for the secondary no one can stop any american from reaching offshore to get a loan it will happen get real..
