Summer is my favorite time of the year. We basically move our kitchen outside and just use the grill, there is just something about grilling and eating outside that makes the food taste so much better.
But while you are outside you need something to keep you cool, or your guest cool. This is why today I am sharing with you this amazing Watermelon and Cucumber Mojito. It’s easy, refreshing and just delicious. I think it might just be my new favorite summer drink!
I got the recipe inspiration from watching the ABC show The Chew. I love this show, it’s a modern spin on cooking show.
The Chew, it’s a talk show where they talk about food, make all kinds of delicious recipes and just chat while this is all going on. There are also some very well knows chefs are part of the show.
During the show they walk you through step by step how to cook the recipe, give some great tips and ideas. If you haven’t seen it give it a try. It’s definitely very different than any other food show and they create some amazing recipes on there. There are times i wish i could join them at the table and cook, i love the feel of it.
Here is a little sneak peak for you:

I’m always looking for new ways to spice up my Summer dishes, and ABC’s The Chew serves up everything from grilling and outdoor entertaining to road trips and picnics. Watch weekdays 1e|12p|c on ABC to see what celebrity chefs Mario Batali, Michael Symon, and Carla Hall, lifestyle expert Clinton Kelly and fresh face of healthy living Daphne Oz are dishing out to inspire you this Summer.
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of ABC’s The Chew. The opinions and text are all mine.
